Building under construction, Formello, 2011-
This residence is located in a suburban area, called La Villa. The house engages in dialogue with the ancient Villa Versaglia, located at a very close distance. The latter, one of the properties of The Chigi Family in the Roman countryside, is a residential complex, made up of a series of buildings, gathered around a courtyard. The peculiarity of this complex, which is now in ruin, is related to its access: a tower through which both people and coaches accessed the property. The new construction, reinvents both the ancient gateway and the courtyard, bringing these features back into play within Italian new domestic landscape.
